The State Pension in the UK for a person who has contributed for 50 years is £221.20 per week, that equates to £958.53 per calendar month.

Let's set out an example whereby you set a goal to increase your win rate by just 1% per month starting with an initial goal of only 4% for your first month as a funded trader on a £10,000 account. Figures are quoted in GBP but the same percentages and amounts apply no matter which currency you purchase your funded prop firm challenge in.

Example of a £10,000 account with 1% increase per month over a 9 month period 

Month 1. You win 4% in the month = £400 Profit, you are paid 80% = £320

Month 2. You win 5% in the month = £500 Profit, you are paid 80% = £400

Month 3. You win 6% in the month = £600 Profit, you are paid 80% = £480

Month 4. You win 7% in the month = £700 Profit, you are paid 80% = £560

Month 5. You win 8% in the month = £800 Profit, you are paid 80% = £640

Month 6. You win 9% in the month = £900 Profit, you are paid 80% = £720

Month 7. You win 10% in the month = £1000 Profit, you are paid 80% = £800 

Month 8. You win 11% in the month = £1100 Profit, you are paid 80% = £880

Month 9. You win 12% in the month = £1200 Profit, you are paid 80% = £960

The goal of getting to 12% per month requires that you trust the indicator, and your own experience to read the market which you'll learn over time.
