Why does my Academy55 Indicator show "License Expired"

If the markets are closed the indicator will basically go to sleep, you can awaken it by right clicking on the MetaTrader desktop and clicking refresh. Other possible reasons include your subscription having lapsed or you have a new challenge account for which you haven't requested a new license.

I have MetaTrader installed on a MAC and my sidebar for Market Watch is undocked, how do I redock it?

This is for MAC users only..

Open your MetaTrader click on File > Open Data Folder > Config

In the config folder you will find a file called terminal.ini rename that file as oldterminal.ini

Close and restart your MetaTrader and the default settings should be back.

You'll then need to refer to the MetaTrader Layout Cusomisation Guide to fully restore your layout.

I see a swap fee in my trading transactions, what does that mean?

You'll only see a swap fee if your keep a trading position open overnight. It's the interest that you pay to the broker for maintaining an overnight position. If you have an open position at the daily rollover point of 00:00 server time a swap fee will be applied.

If you are following the rules of Academy55 you will never pay a swap fee.

Challenges

How long do free challenges last?

Each free challenges last for 14 days (or less if you blow the account)
* There is no limit to the number of free challenges you can take.

My free challenge has expired, how do I register and setup a new one?

How long do paid challenges last?

There's no time limit when you are taking a paid challenge, it will run until you either pass or fail the challenge.

What's the process for passing a paid challenge and getting a funded account with FTMO?

There are 3 phases to a paid challenge.

Phase 1:  You have to achieve the 10% profit target then wait for 24 hrs before starting phase 2.

Phase 2: You have to achieve make an additional 5% profit.

Phase 3. FTMO will evaluate your performance to ensure it met all the rules then they will fund you as a Trader.

When funded you can select your withdrawal date for any profits you make after they funded you. As long as you stay within the rules, your account will keep active month after month.

Paid challenges remain active for as long as you can stay below the Max Daily Loss and Max Total Loss. You do not have to close a paid challenge and start again, that only applies to demo challenges.

Why are you called Academy55?

This originally stemmed from the idea that many people between the ages of 50 and 60 are now waking up to the fact that when they finally do reach pensionable age the amount of money that they will receive from their state pension is simply not going to be enough, and 55 is between those ages.

By following what we teach you in Academy55 you'll gain a skill for life which can out earn any pension or job no matter what age you are today.

How can I change my password?

Simply go to the login page and click the 'Lost Your Password' link under the login button and the system will send you a link to reset your password.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Submit a support ticket requesting cancellation of your subscription AT LEAST 48 HOURS BEFORE it's next renewal date. You won't be billed again and your access to the Academy55 indicators will cease to work at the end of the current billing period.
